Come and see some May Day magic at the National Botanic Garden of Wales this bank holiday weekend.

Folly Farm’s resident conjurer/magician Luke Jugglestruck will be wowing the crowds in the Garden on Saturday (April 30), Sunday (May 1) and Monday (May 2) with his unique magic show, circus skills, and fun and games.

On the Sunday and the Monday, he will be joined by the brilliant Pembrokeshire Falconry and their birds of prey squadron who will be put through their paces for special flying displays at 12noon and 2pm both days.

There’s also woodturning demonstrations, music from local folk duo Fiddlebox and the Welsh Tune Club, while the Carmarthen Spinners, Weavers and Dyers will be displaying their skills and answering your questions (if you have any).

With our brand new playground and water zorbing, it’s going to be a wonderful Bank Holiday Weekend so make a date and don’t forget to make time for a walk around the bluebells of springwoods and the wildflowers on the Welsh Country Walk, the stunning slate beds around the lakes, and in Pont Felin Gat.

You will also find a Mediterranean spring in full bloom in the Great Glasshouse where plants from Australia, South Africa, Chile, California, Canaries and the Med basin are in full bloom.

The Garden is open from 10am to 6pm with last entry at 5pm.

Entry is FREE for Garden members and parking is FREE for all.
