Neath Port Talbot Council’s pan disability centre, Bspoked Enterprises, will be launching its new shop this April.
The Council’s work, employment and training centre for people with disabilities is hosting a Spring Fair to mark the opening of its new shop. The Fair is open to all and will be displaying a range of products that will be sold from the shop such as crafts, wood products, bikes and glass ornaments.
To add further variety, local craft makers will be in attendance to display their products. Visitors will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle with a chance to win a range of Bspoked products as well as other donated prizes.
All of the repurposed and handcrafted products are made by people that attend the centre, who are also involved in the designing and selling process. The centre aims to give attendees the chance to diversify their practical skills through learning and training initiatives.
Nick Jarman, Director of Social Services, Health and Housing said: “Improving outcomes and consequently improving lives for people with disabilities is one of our top priorities.”
“The Spring Fair will be a great opportunity to show how the centre is helping to develop skills and enable people to become as independent as possible.”
The Fair will be open from 10am to 3pm on Friday 29th April at Bspoked Enterprises, Monastery Road, Neath Abbey, Neath, SA10 7DR.
