Plaid Cymru’s Simon Thomas said: “I am truly honoured and delighted to see so many people now supporting me as their next Assembly Member for Carmarthen West and South Pembrokeshire. During this campaign, people have told me they need their AM to be someone with the backbone, experience and determination to provide a strong voice for this area, secure investment in west Wales and protect our NHS from Conservative and Labour cuts. I am so pleased that so many are saying that they trust me to get that job done. My plea to the people of this area is to join them, become a Plaid Cymru voter in order to secure the change we need.”
