Troserch Woodlands Society are making an appeal for people to join the society to help keep the picturesque community woodland near Llangennech open and free to use for all.
The committee and volunteers generously carry out the necessary work and maintenance that goes with managing a large woodland, and give their time so that all may share the pleasure the woods can offer in the form of peaceful recreation.
The society rely heavily on annual memberships and kind donations which pay towards the expensive insurance policies needed for a publicly accessible site, tools and equipment for the volunteer working parties and also to employ contractors when there is a need to do so. 100% of the money contributed is put back into the running of the woods.
Members can benefit from having free entry to the events that the society hold in the woods throughout the year.
If you would like to join, then please visit the website www.troserchwoods.co.uk for more information.
