Community safety sergeant Julie Powell said: âCome along to our Emergency Services Fun Day for a fun-packed family day.
âLast year was a great success with the police and fire service and all our partner agencies coming together to bring people something much bigger and better than they have had opportunity to come to before. We anticipate another great day this year.
âFor the first time we are holding it at Victoria Gardens in Neath where there is easy access to public transport and plenty of car parking nearby.
âAs well as giving people opportunity to see and sit inside our emergency vehicles and meet police, fire and ambulance officers, there will be a number of activities and displays to entertain and inform visitors such as the ever popular Crime Scene Investigation display where âyoung detectivesâ can get their fingerprints taken and enter our young detectives quiz.
âOur aim of the day is to give insight to the type of work emergency services are carrying out to keep residents of Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot as safe as we can and also give us opportunity to meet the people we serve in a fun and informal way.â
