Walk 1: Lliw Valley Reservoir – Saturday 18th June – 10am.

Meet at the Reservoir car park. Coordinates for google maps for directionsĀ 51.71273, -3.95578
Level 3/4 – Not suitable for pushchairs/wheelchairs etc.

The walk is approx 2 miles long on a mixture of ground, there are some steep steps and some muddy rough ground with exposed roots to walk on. Suitable shoes must be worn. This is a beautiful area with lovely scenery. We will go to the cafe for a cuppa after the walk.

Walk 2: Burry Port Shoreline – Tuesday 21st June – 10am.

Meet at the free car park behind Shoreline Caravan Park. Coordinates for google maps for directions51.67916, -4.26052
Level 2 – Can be made suitable for pushchairs/wheelchairs etc.

The walk is approx 2.5 miles long on mostly good ground. We will if tides/weather allows walk on a part of the beach. Prams/wheelchairs can follow on a good path. Lovely shoreline/harbour scenery.

Walk 3:Ā SPECIAL WALK ā€“ National Botanical Gardens of Wales explore the Regency Project.Ā 

As Wales Wildlife Watch are one of the ‘Walking Well Carmarthenshire’ groups we have been lucky to be offered another free walk at the Botanical Gardens. This is the last chance we have to do this walk. It is a fantastic guided walk around an area that many people do not realise is there. The walk will be on Thursday 23rd June – entry will be Free!
We will meet in the car park at 10am so that we can all go in together for the walk start time of 10.30.
Please let me know asap if you will be joining the walk as I must give numbers soon.

Litter Picks
We have 2 litter pick dates so far.
Pembrey Burrows – Monday 20th June. Meet 10am in the free burrows car park. Turn left at the car park just before the country park entrance, follow the road round to the free car park.
Dafen Pond – Monday 4th July. Meet 10am in the car park.
Everyone is welcome to come along to help. Please bring gloves.

Coffee Morning
Next Coffee morning will be on Monday 11th July at 10 am.Ā
