Saturday 25 June marks the eighth National Armed Forces Day and provides an opportunity for us to show our support for the Armed Forces.

The day is a chance to support the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community; from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. There are many ways for people, communities and organisations across the country to show their support and get involved.
Armed Forces Champion for Ceredigion County Council and Councillor Paul Hinge said: “This day is a simple way for anyone to pay tribute to the armed forces, and is a great was to boost the morale of troops and their families. Wherever you are in Wales there is an event happening, or you can get involved in the online celebrations by sending in your photos or videos.”

The Armed Forces Day flag will be flown on Ceredigion County Council buildings from Friday 24 June. There will be Armed Forces Day celebrations held across Wales please visit  https://www.armedforcesday.org.uk/find-events/ for more info.

To join the online celebrations send in your photos or videos of you or your friends and colleague saluting and tweet @ArmedForcesDay using #SaluteOurForces or comment on Facebook posts https://www.facebook.com/armedforcesday
