Honorary president of the National Botanic Garden, Sir Gareth Edwards CBE will be cutting the ribbon at the official opening of the new Butterfly House on Monday July 25th.
The new Garden attraction is already a big hit with visitors and, with more than 500 tropical butterflies now on the wing, it is bound to prove a very big draw this summer for tourists and locals alike.
The Garden’s Director Huw Francis said: “This is a very important day for us and a very special occasion so who could be better than Sir Gareth to do the honours and declare Plas Pilipala officially open.”
The grand opening will take place at 11am.
