Just one game for Wales u16 v Catalans – to take place this Sunday

Catalans Dragons’ under 16s tour of Wales has been reduced to just the one game – a one off encounter at Stebonheath Park in Llanelli this Sunday, in a battle of the Dragons as they face the Wales under 16s side.

With this year’s international under 16s programme being larger than usual, a fixture between Catalans and a select side was something that could not be passed and when the French offered the challenge to the Welsh staff, the management team and players jumped at the opportunity to test themselves against a Super League outfit.

This should be a highly entertaining game as both the Welsh and the French play with style and flare.

The fixture on Sunday will kick off at 10:15am at Stebonheath Park, Llanelli, £4 adults and £2 children.

The proposed first game, which was to be played in Caerphilly on Thursday, will now no longer take place.
