CETMA is pleased to announce that it will be launching this new project with a litter  pick on Thursday 28th July 2016 in Dafen Pond.
In attendance will be Lee Waters Llanelli AM, Cllr Jim Jones Carms CC Executive Board member for the Environment, local councillors, Tidy Towns and a representative of Dyfed Powys Police.

Background
The litter pickers are organised by Trixie Evans, our Wildlife Watch Coordinator.
The Wildlife Watch Litter Pickers project sees a group of volunteers teaming up to tackle litter hot spots throughout the area and cleaning them up.
Trixie Evans has been cleaning Dafen Pond with a hard core group of fellow Wildlife Watch litter pickers for the past year. They regularly collect about 5 rubbish bags
and other bits and pieces which is collected by the Council in an arrangement.
The group have now decided to help tackle more litter hot spots because they are fed up of the mess left by people.
