Road resurfacing works on West Way mean Swansea City Bus Station will be closed from 7pm to 1am on both Tuesday July 26 and Wednesday July 27.

Buses will instead be departing from Wellington Street opposite Tesco during the temporary closures.

During the closures, services will depart from the following stops:

Bus stop one (Nearest the bus station)

Services 6, X1, X13 and X58

Bus stop two

Services 4A, 12, 13, 16, 25, 28 and 111.

Bus stop three

Services 2A, 3A, 20, 31, 36 and X50.

Service 27A will depart from the coach laybys on Albert Row.

Swansea Council and First Cymru are sharing the information on their websites and on social media.

The West Way improvement scheme is being completed with funding from the Welsh Government’s Vibrant and Viable Places Swansea City Centre Regeneration programme that was awarded in June, 2014.

The overall project, expected to last until the autumn, will lead to better pedestrian crossings over West Way, more greenery and better traffic flows because of a planned reduction in traffic light phasing.

Overnight works are taking place until Monday August 1 to avoid causing major disruption to city centre traffic.
