Two more major acts taking part in the Club MTV concert in Swansea next month are being announced later this week.

The acts will join Professor Green, Jonas Blue and Redlight at the Singleton Park concert on Saturday September 24.

Swansea Council has worked closely with MTV and the Welsh Government to bring the concert to the city.

The latest confirmed acts are being announced on Wednesday August 17. One has topped the UK album chart, with the other topping the UK singles chart during the last year.

Tickets for the concert, priced at just £15 plus a £1.50 booking fee, can be purchased on either the Ticketmaster website at www.ticketmaster.co.uk or from Derricks Music on Oxford Street. The concert has a capacity for 20,000 people.

Some of Professor Green’s biggest hits include Read All About It, featuring Emile Sandé; I Need You Tonight, featuring Ed Drewett; and Just Be Good To Green, featuring Lily Allen.

London-based music producer Jonas Blue’s hits include Fast Car, featuring Dakota, which reached number two in the UK singles chart; as well as Perfect Strangers, featuring JP Cooper, which also reached number two in the UK singles chart.

Bristol DJ Redlight is a huge underground favourite, whose hits include Switch it Off, Get Out Of My Head and Lost In Your Love.

Club MTV residents and rising stars of the UK’s EDM scene, R3WIRE and Varski, have also been confirmed for the Singleton Park concert.
