Dyfed-Powys Police is calling for anyone who was on Priory Street, Carmarthen, between 8.45pm and 9.30pm on Monday, August 22 to get in touch with Carmarthen CID.
The call is being made as part of an investigation into an assault that occurred in a lane on Priory Street around that time.
DC Sian Davies said: “Whether they think they hold information that could help the investigation or not we are very keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at this time. Their input could really help our investigation and help prevent this type of offence from occurring again. We have charged a man with this incident but that does not mean the investigation is over. We still need further information to be able to piece together the whole picture of what happened that night.”
A 55-year-old man has been charged with attempted sexual assault and is on remand until September 23.
Anyone who was in the area during that timeframe is urged to call Carmarthen CID immediately on 101.
