Plaid Cymru has today announced the appointment of its new Chief Executive.
Gareth Clubb will lead operations from the Plaid Cymru headquarters in Cardiff from 21 September.
Gareth is currently Director of Friends of the Earth Cymru and has considerable organisational management experience from roles in the voluntary and public sectors. He stood for election in the Bridgend constituency in the 2005 general election.
Plaid Chair Alun Ffred Jones said;
“We’re delighted to have been able to appoint Gareth as Plaid’s new Chief Executive. He will be able to draw on his experience from a variety of roles to help support and further develop our dynamic Plaid staff team.”
Commenting on his appointment, Gareth Clubb said;
“I’m thrilled at the prospect of joining the fantastic Plaid team at such an exciting time for politics in Wales.
“Political engagement has been immensely important to my work, and I’m looking forward to helping extend Plaid’s reach across all parts of Wales”.
