This year’s pedestrianisation of Tenby’s walled town finishes on Friday, September 16th.
It is the 2nd year that the scheme has operated for an extended period following the Long Course Weekend up to the Ironman weekend and is now a permanent feature following a successful trial in 2015.
The trial was introduced following a consultation exercise with residents and businesses and looks to support local business and Town Council initiatives aimed at regenerating the Town Centre.
The operating hours of the scheme were also extended by 30 minutes a day, prohibiting non-essential vehicles from entering the town’s walls between 11am and 5.30pm.
