CETMA’s, Llanelli Free Books Project has its official launch on Saturday 8th October where local dignitaries and visitors will be popping in to see the project in action.
There will be story time for children by authors such as Beatrix Potter, Roald Dahl and others with the readings by Lee Waters AM and Jo Yeo. Times will be:
Llanelli Town Mayor, Councillor Bill Thomas is attending and will be joined by Chairman of Llanelli Rural Council, Cllr. Steve M. Donoghue and his Consort, Mrs Michelle Donoghue.

The project which started on Saturday September 10th, saw books being recycled instead of ending up in landfill. Llanelli Free Books relies on books donated from the public with the intention of the public then loaning out books they want to read.
Everyone is welcome to attend and the day begins at 10 am and finishes at 2pm. CETMA are hoping that local choir Philharmonics will be available to sing from 1pm till close.
