A Haverfordwest mother has appeared in court after admitting a noise nuisance.
Louise Simpkins, 38, had been served an Abatement Notice by Pembrokeshire County Council in respect of the music emanating from her home at 120 West Court.
The Notice required she stopped playing loud music which caused a noise nuisance to her neighbours.
At Haverfordwest Magistrates on Monday (26th September) she admitted breaching that notice.
The loud music was recorded on a Noise App – a smart tool for professionals investigating complaints about noise and anti-social behaviour.
Anyone in Pembrokeshire can use the Noise App if they have a smart device and suffer from a noise nuisance as it is an App that the County Council subscribe to.
It gives people 24/7 access to noise monitoring equipment and allows officers to quickly investigate and assess complaints.
Simpkins told the court that the complaints arose from occasions when her daughters were home and when she was at work and could not control the volume.
The defendant was given a conditional discharge and warned not to repeat the offence.
She was also ordered to pay £100 costs plus a victim surcharge of £20.
