At the launch of the Welsh Liberal Democrats’ election campaign in Aberteifi, Mark Williams MP will say;

“Our politics has never been more divided than it is today. The future of our country, communities and economy remain deeply uncertain.
“These elections offer people and communities across Wales the opportunity to stand up for decent, tolerant values and for ideas that will make our communities stronger, more open, and more prosperous.
“We need fresh talent, new ideas, and passion in our local county and city halls to get things done.
“No more should communities have to accept the complacency, arrogance, and laziness rife in our local councils. We won’t accept it.
“The Welsh Liberal Democrats offer a positive vision of what Wales can achieve.
“Whether that’s delivering more than £300m for our schools to give every child the best start in life, building 20,000 new affordable homes, or protecting funding for local councils.
Mark will also say;
“Our message is clear. A vote for the Welsh Liberal Democrats is a vote for a party you can trust to stand up for you and your community.
“We will fight for a better politics, more accountable councils, and a liberal vision of Wales.
“We will work to make sure that nobody in our communities is left behind and that everyone has the opportunity to succeed in life. That is our promise to you.”
