PEOPLE who wish to place floral tributes in honour of the Manchester bombing victims are welcome to do so in appropriate places within county council grounds.
It follows a requests made from Tina Davies of Llanelli town centre who asked if she could place flowers in the grounds of the Town Hall in memory of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attack.
County Council Leader Cllr Emlyn Dole said: “There are no words to describe the horror, the pain or the suffering this attack has caused.
“Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones, to those who are injured, and to all those who will forever remain traumatised by this inhuman act.
“Nothing anyone can do or say will ease their pain, but we all, as fellow human beings, want to show our support, our sympathy and understanding in any way we can.
“People are welcome to place flowers or tributes in the grounds of our main council buildings if they wish to do so, in honour and remembrance of those who tragically lost their lives in Manchester.”
