Now Licensed for Wedding Ceremonies

One of South Wales’ most innovative restaurants is welcoming
couples to-be….. after being granted a full wedding licence.

Situated in a Grade II listed building in Llanelli’s North Dock,
Sosban has been a popular choice for wedding receptions, but now
guests can hold the full day of celebrations at the historic stonework
restaurant.

Robert Williams, Director, comments: “We know our building is a
big draw for couples looking for an unique and historic venue but our
food is also proving to be incredibly popular. We welcomed a new
executive chef, Andrew Sheridan, earlier this year and we’re
receiving excellent reviews. Andrew offers a menu full of seasonal
ingredients, authentic flavours and beautifully plated dishes and will
discuss a bespoke menu with couples, to suit their personal tastes for
their big day.”

Dozens of couples have already held their wedding celebrations at
Sosban but the new ceremony license will mean that couples and their
guests can legally marry at the premises as well as holding their
wedding breakfast and reception on-site.

Sosban is available for exclusive hire, and can cater for up to 160
guests and also boasts a large sun terrace ideal for guests to enjoy
cocktails and canapés.

When it comes to wedding photography, Sosban’s dramatic interior
and exterior offer the perfect backdrop. The waterside location,
striking stone tower and exposed brick and wood-beam interior, offer
stunning photograph opportunities on-site but given its convenient
location, Sosban is also just a short drive from picturesque Sandy
Water Park and from many of Carmarthenshire’s beautiful beaches,
providing alternative options nearby.

Sosban truly offers couples one of the best and most unique wedding
venues in South West Wales.
