Glangwili Hospital is to host a recruitment open day on Saturday 9 September 2017 from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

The day will be an opportunity for Hywel Dda University Health Board to showcase the varied roles on offer at the hospital in Carmarthen and the surrounding community and primary care areas.

This is part of an ongoing recruitment effort to attract medical, nursing and allied healthcare professionals to local healthcare services. There are a number of roles within all scheduled and unscheduled care services, as well as within community and primary care services.

Lisa Gostling, Director of Workforce and Organisational Development for Hywel Dda University Health Board said: “Our previous recruitment open days in Bronglais and Withybush hospitals have been a huge success and so we’re excited about hosting our next one at Glangwili Hospital.

“We will be highlighting what potential candidates can gain from working with us here in Hywel Dda and I encourage any interested healthcare professionals to come along to the event to find out more and meet with some of our medical, nursing and allied healthcare professionals at the hospital.“

The open day will also provide information about career opportunities, training and development programmes, flexible working and job sharing opportunities, plus other unique benefits available to staff. The Education Liaison Nursing Team will also be present to provide information on support available for newly qualified nurses.
