Calling all Carmarthenshire residents – your NHS services need to change and now is the time to make your voices heard / Trigolion Sir Gaerfyrddin – mae angen gwneud newidiadau i’ch gwasanaethau GIG, a dyma eich cyfle i ddweud eich dweud

The Health Board is encouraging individuals to enter the discussion about how we change and improve health services in this area, so that they are fit for the next generation and future population needs. 
That’s why we’d like you to come to our last public engagement session in Llanelli around Transforming Clinical Services at Selwyn Samuel Centre, Llanelli, SA15 3AE, on Monday 11 September.
So far this summer we’ve heard the expected, the unexpected and some surprising suggestions from members of the public, staff, partner and third sector organisations – but we want as many people as possible to get involved before the TCS engagement period ends on 15 September.
Dr Philip Kloer, Medical Director and Director of Clinical Strategy at Hywel Dda University Health Board, said: “I’d like to thank everyone who has responded to our survey, or who has attended a TCS event so far; part of the feedback we’ve received from people is that they wanted us to hold another public drop-in session in each county before the engagement period closes.
“So I’d like to formally invite any Carmarthenshire residents who haven’t yet shared their thoughts to come to Selwyn Samuel Centre and make their voices heard. Now is the time for people to speak up and share their ideas and experiences to help make the NHS in mid and west Wales the best it can be.”
The event, which will be held from 2pm-7pm, is open to everyone so there’s no need to book in advance.  Anyone who would like to talk to us about our Transforming Mental Health Services (TMHS) Consultation is also welcome to attend as there will be a representative from the service there.

Felly dewch i’n sesiwn ymgysylltu gyhoeddus olaf yn Sir Gaerfyrddin ar Drawsnewid Gwasanaethau Clinigol yng Nghanolfan Selwyn Samuel, Llanelli SA15 3AE, ar ddydd Mercher 6 Medi.
Hyd yn hyn yr haf hwn rydym wedi clywed yr hyn roedden ni’n ei ddisgwyl, pethau annisgwyl ac ambell i awgrym gwahanol gan aelodau o’r cyhoedd, staff, sefydliadau partner a trydydd sector – ond rydym am i gynifer o bobl â phosibl i gymryd rhan cyn i’r cyfnod ymgysylltu ar Drawsnewid Gwasanaethau Clinigol (TGC) ddod i ben ar 15 Medi.
Dywed Dr Philip Kloer, Cyfarwyddwr Meddygol a Chyfarwyddwr Strategaeth Glinigol Bwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Hywel Dda: “Rwyf am ddiolch i bob un sydd wedi ymateb i’n arolwg, neu sydd wedi mynychu digwyddiad TGC hyd yn hyn. Yn rhan o’r adborth ddaeth i law oedd cais y cyhoedd am sesiwn alw-heibio arall ym mhob sir cyn diwedd y cyfnod ymgysylltu.
“Felly dyma wahodd trigolion Sir Gaerfyrddin sydd heb rannu eu syniadau hyd yn hyn i ddod i Canolfan Selwyn Samuel i ddweud eu dweud. Nawr yw’r amser i bobl leisio’u barn a rhannu syniadau a phrofiadau er mwyn helpu i wneud y GIG yng nghanolbarth a gorllewin Cymru y gorau y gall fod.”
