The newspapers of the Victorian age treated tales of ghosts with
utmost seriousness. It was a busy era for the spirit world and
probably a great way to sell newspapers.

Now Mark Rees has unearthed accounts of hauntings, poltergeists, and
ghostly apparitions from all around Wales and has brought them into
the daylight for the first time in over a century. He has also
translated many of the stories into English for the first time.

_GHOSTS OF WALES: ACCOUNTS FROM THE VICTORIAN ARCHIVES_ is published
by The History Press in October, £12.99 paperback.

Mark would be happy to write and tailor a piece based on your
catchment area or, if you would like a review copy, please contact Helen Bradbury on 01453 732550 or email:
