In a matter of weeks, allotment holders in Llannon will be paying their modest dues to have the privilege of growing in their “idyllic acre.”.
Llannon Community Allotment Group secretary, Phil Snaith, said: “We are about to go into our seventh season, and although we still have a core of 20+ members, there are still a few plots available for 2018.If you have little experience of growing and feel you wouldn’t know how to go about it, there is plenty of help and advice available on what is best and easiest to grow. We also welcome experienced gardeners, and basically anyone else who fancies trying their hand at growing their own crops. What better way to enjoy the outdoors and get something fresh to eat at the same time!”
