Wales Rugby League would like to thank Warrington Wolves for use of their training facilities last Saturday as they had their final session before flying out to Australia next week.

Wales under 23 assistant coach Mark Robinson is from Warrington, and he is grateful to Super League for their help in Wales’ preparations for the prestigious competition.

He said: “Warrington Wolves have been fantastic and we’d like to thank all at the club, especially the club’s assistant coach Andy Henderson, who was instrumental in allowing us to use their facilities.

“We had a good team building session in the gym and trained hard in the indoor training barn at their Chester University base, which is everything that the Super League players use on a day to day basis.

“It was great for the lads and they’ll got a lot out of it in preparation for what will be a tough tournament.”
