PROFILE
A product of the great rugby playing school in Cardiff that is Ysgol GyfunGymraegGlantaf, Karlin started playing RL for his school as well as Cardiff Blue Dragons, who he turned out for at under 15 and 17 level as well as first team. Capped for East Wales and Wales at both 16s and 18s, he turned out for South Wales Ironmen under 18s last season and has been named in the West Wales Raiders first team for 2018. Previously played rugby union for Cardiff Schools from under 11s upwards and was also in the Cardiff Blues academy, playing for them at under 16 and 18 levels, in between his rugby league commitments.

Wales’ only tri-code player in the side, having turned out for Wales Touch under 18s. The Merthyr Tydfil born tri-code player initially played rugby union for Nelson before switching to Touch with YstradMynach Titans and charity side Velindre Untouchables. He recently switched to rugby league with college side Coleg Y Cymoedd and scored two tries on his debut against University of South Wales. This tournament will be his first appearances for Wales in rugby league.
