PROFILE

Morgan Jeffries played rugby union locally in his native Bridgend as a youngster and spent some time on Ospreys books before switching to rugby league with Bridgend Blue Bulls. Then at aged 15, he played for the South Wales Scorpions under 15 side. He eventually became one of only three players to have turned out for all age grade levels and first team at the old South Wales club, making 16 senior appearances following his debut last year, scoring one try. He has also played community rugby league for West Wales Raiders. A member of the Commonwealth Championships side that won bronze in Glasgow four years ago, he was in the WRL AASE Academy and has also been capped for Wales at both under 16s and 18s level.

 

LIAM RICE-WILSON

PROFILE

Liam Rice-Wilson is from Kent and qualifies to play for Wales through his Welsh grandmother. He played rugby union up until he was 14 before joining local rugby league side Medway Dragons. From there, he was picked up by the London Broncos Super League academy and continued to play RL when at the University of Gloucestershire. It was there he became a Wales Student international, playing in last year’s Student World Cup in Sydney. He also played for Gloucestershire All Golds reserves. He’s now been picked up by Coventry Bears for the 2018 season.
