SAS BEACH CLEAN LEADERS
SAS provide full event support to all Beach Clean Leaders and help them make the most of this opportunity.
Surfers Against Sewage conforms to statutory requirements with regard to employer’s liability and this covers volunteers on beach clean activities. SAS will not promote or endorse a Big Spring Beach Clean Event until Beach Clean Leaders provide evidence that they have:
- Completed a pre-event checklist (including a risk assessment and beach manager notification).
- Agreed to follow SAS’s health and safety advice and briefing instructions.
