Man fined for dumping rubbish bag

 

A Nantgaredig man has admitted dumping a black bag of rubbish on the ground at a recycling site in Abergwili.

Scott Clarkson, was fined £209 after enforcement officers identified him through their investigations.

The 47-year-old accepted a fixed penalty notice but no payment was made and the case was then taken to court.

Llanelli magistrates ordered the 47-year-old, who pleaded guilty by post, to pay £68 costs and £30 victim surcharge, in prosecution led by Carmarthenshire County Council.

The council’s executive board member for public protection, Cllr Philip Hughes said: “We will continue to take action on anyone caught dumping rubbish illegally in Carmarthenshire.”

MAE dyn o Nantgaredig wedi cyfaddef iddo adael bag sbwriel du ar y llawr mewn safle ailgylchu yn Abergwili.

Cafodd Scott Clarkson ddirwy o £209 ar ôl i swyddogion gorfodi wneud archwiliadau.

Cafodd y dyn, 47 oed, hysbysiad cosb benodedig ond ni wnaeth unrhyw daliad ac yna, aeth yr achos i’r llys.

Rhoddwyd gorchymyn gan Lys Ynadon Llanelli i’r dyn, a blediodd yn euog drwy’r post, dalu £68 mewn costau a £30 o ordal dioddefwr, mewn erlyniad o dan arweiniad Cyngor Sir Caerfyrddin.

Dywedodd y Cynghorydd Philip Hughes, yr Aelod o Fwrdd Gweithredol y Cyngor dros Ddiogelu’r Cyhoedd: “Byddwn ni’n parhau i gymryd camau gweithredu yn erbyn pobl sy’n cael eu dal yn gwaredu sbwriel yn anghyfreithlon yn Sir Gaerfyrddin.”
