Scarlets Treated to Helzbach Lucky Cupcakes!

Good Friday could well be a Great Friday in Llanelli this year if the Scarlets secure a victory in the Quarter Finals of this season’s Champions’ Cup against French side La Rochelle.
Preparations have been ongoing both on and off the pitch this week, with the installation of temporary seating and hospitality marquees, and our own Helzbach has been doing her bit too!
As a proud sponsor of Centre, Steffan Hughes, Cakes by Helzbach supplied good luck cupcakes for the players.
The idea came about initially in the week prior to the Pro12 Final out in Dublin last May. We all know the outcome of that fixture and obviously the lucky cupcakes played a small part!!!
Fast forward to the Festive Period with the visit of the Ospreys on Boxing Day, and being a Welsh Derby, on this occasion the players were treated to a batch of Welsh Cakes, hot off the griddle. Again, the Scarlets notched up the win, securing the double over their closest neighbours.
“I’m going for the hat-trick,” joked Helzbach. “The extra sugar must give the boys a boost along with a sprinkling of lucky dust!”
As Head Coach, Wayne Pivac has stated during the season, that the aim is to once again win the Pro14, along with being competitive in Europe. It could well be a very busy couple of months for Helzbach!!
