Following on from the success of 2017, the Country Fair is returning to Cothi Bridge Showground on Saturday and Sunday 17th& 18th of June.  With even more entertainment packed into the two day show, it is set to be even better than last year.

After its inaugural year last year, the CHC Country Fair shone as a weekend that had something for everyone.  A combination of a wide range of showing classes for Terriers, Lurchers and Hounds along with a Family Dog Show teamed with a host of trade stands showcasing all aspects of country life made for a brilliant and edifying weekend.  Lots of laughs were had across the weekend with Donkey Derby and the infamous “It’s A Knockout” competition rounding off the weekend.

With visitors set to attend from across the UK and further afield, there is a packed programme of entertainment including Birds of Prey, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Fly Fishing along with Fairground, Stalls, Family Dog Show, Gundog Displays and Ferret Racing.  There will even be a traditional duck race taking place down the Cothi River!

Throughout the weekend there will be various Qualifiers for Countryman’s Weekly, Chatsworth, Welsh Counties plus many more.  The weekend will showcase some of the best Hounds, Beagles, Terriers and Lurchers in the country, with competitors travelling from as far afield as Ireland and Scotland.

All profit made at the Fair will be going to Ty Cymorth, a local palliative care charity.
