Important – Wildlife Watch/Walks/Litter Pickers

 

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR) any organisation holding personal data, including contact details, must obtain consent from its members to hold this data. After a two year implementation period, compliance is required by 25th May 2018. For us to be able to contact you in the future would you please therefore reply with a “yes” by post or email before 25th May. Failure to reply by this date may result in your contact details being deleted.

 

Your contact details are held by Wales Wildlife Watch solely for the purposes of membership administration and notification of Wildlife Watch/Walks/Litter Pickers events.   No contact details will be passed on to third parties without the explicit permission of the member.

 

Members have the right to withdraw consent at any time, and also have the right to access, rectify or erase personal data. This may be done by contacting whoever is administering the membership of Wales Wildlife Watch, currently myself (details below).

 

If membership is terminated all contact details will be erased. Should you no longer wish to be contacted you can unsubscribe using the link below.
