The golf day is part of a series of fundraising events that make up Byte Night, the largest sponsored sleep out that returns to Wales on Friday October 5th for the third year. These crucial funds will go specifically towards preventing youth homelessness in Wales.

Young people across Wales benefit from Action for Children services building better lives through the attainment of accommodation, education, training and personal wellbeing support.

David Morgan, Barclays’ Relationship Director, Byte Night Wales board member and organiser of the golf event, said: ‘We had an absolutely brilliant day of golf in wonderful weather. The camaraderie and networking were excellent but never far from our minds were the young people Action for Children supports.

‘We’re so passionate about raising much more money and awareness of the issues our young people face and this golf day puts us in great heart ahead of the big sleep out in October. To raise over £4,000 was tremendous too so I’m very grateful to all those who generously gave their time and money to Byte Night Wales.
