For several years, Chris Pratt has been an actor with a high rising career, from the OC… to Parks and Recreation…to Guardians of the Galaxy… to Jurassic World.
Jurassic world: Fallen kingdom plays on a number of emotions in this new sequel such as humour, fear, and one scene will absolutely just bring a tear to the eye. I mean, seriously, I was crying my eyes out in one particular scene. (I won’t tell you what happens. I’m not big on spoilers.) Now normally it doesn’t take much to scare me, but there were one or two scenes that did make me jump off my seat, which I’m not afraid to share.
Of course, Chris Pratt is just as pleasing to watch, as Owen Brady with his wit and charming charisma. Brice Dallas Howard was, I’m sorry to say, a little bland if you ask me. I mean, I seriously thought she was going to get eaten by a T-Rex or something in the last movie. She seems like that kind of character, which is unfortunate because I usually enjoy her in the characters she plays.
Now, I didn’t expect the plot of this story to go the way it did. I just thought they were going to save Blue the Raptor and the rest, or most of the dinosaurs and put them on a secluded island, or something. But, unfortunately, they kind of went the same way as they did in the last film, ( which if you haven’t seen it yet, I won’t say, as I will not spoil it,) but this particular dinosaur featured, was very scary. So it’s not all bad.
As we all saw in the trailers, Jeff Goldblum is back which really got me excited, I have to say. To me he plays a part which is probably the most important role in the whole movie. He makes an amazing point and really brings it home, as an incredible possibility of science, whereby mankind will be the cause of his own extinction. Sometimes we have to step back and think…and ask… is this the right thing for us to do?
This is a very enjoyable movie which I could watch again, and again. If you haven’t seen it yet, then what are you waiting for? I give ‘Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom’ a solid nine out of ten.
