Wales Rugby League will be holding a quadruple header Grand Finals Day at Sardis Road in Pontypridd on Sunday 12th August.

The day will start at 10am with the under 13s final. The top side in the league table will go through automatically, with second v third playing off for the other final spot.

The under 15s final will start at 11.15am. The Caerphilly-based Aber Valley Wolves became the first team to qualify after their 48-28 win over Cardiff Blue Dragons on Sunday.

Then at 12.45pm, the under 17 final between Cardiff Blue Dragons and Torfaen Tigers will take place.

Finally, at 2.45pm, it’s the Welsh Premier League Final. The semi-finals for this will take place on the previous weekend with Valley Cougars and Torfaen Tigers already confirmed as the home clubs.

Cardiff Blue Dragons and Rhondda Outlaws will definitely be the away sides in the semi-finals with this Saturday’s final regular season match – Torfaen Tigers v Rhondda Outlaws at Cwmbran RFC (kick-off 2.30pm) – to decide who plays who. A 48-point win for Rhonnda will leapfrog them above Cardiff into third place and give them a repeat visit to the Tigers.

Saturday 18th or Sunday 19th August (TBC) at Stebonheath Park in Llanelli, sees the first of a three-match open-age community game Origin series with WRL South West v WRL South East taking place as a curtain raiser before West Wales Raiders v Coventry Bears.

South East v North Wales Origin takes place the following Sunday 26th August at an East Wales location TBC in a triple header of matches that also sees East and West meet at under 13 and 15 level.

North v South West then takes place on Sunday 2nd September at Queensway Stadium in Wrexham as a curtain raiser to North Wales Crusaders v West Wales Raiders.

The best of these community players will then be selected for Wales Dragonhearts who will take on a military side, a Super League reserve side and England Lions as well as playing a two-match series in Serbia. All this will take place between September 15th and October 10th
