Still time to take part in LDP consultation

What will Carmarthenshire look like in 2033? There’s a fortnight left to answer a questionnaire about the future of planning in our county.

A revised Local Development Plan is being prepared for Carmarthenshire.

This is the scheme that will be used as the basis for determining planning applications until the year 2033. It will be ready by 2021.

Carmarthenshire County Council is now discussing the key issues, vision and strategic objectives of the plan.

An online consultation on candidate sites closes on August 10.

“If you haven’t done so already, I kindly urge you to go online now to respond,” said Cllr Alun Lenny, Planning Committee Chair.

“It’s simple to fill and open to everyone to respond – businesses, stakeholders, the third sector and the general public.

“The Local Development Plan will have a huge impact on what Carmarthenshire will be like by the year 2033 in terms of housing, industry, environment, language and culture. This is important for every individual and community throughout the county.

“The timetable set by the Welsh Government is tight. But the County Council wants to use what time we have to consult as widely as possible. This is an opportunity for you to have your say. Please make the most of it – for the future of our county and our people. ”

Although the questionnaire closes on August 10, the closing date to submit Candidate Sites for inclusion in the LDP has been extended to August 29, 2018.

SUT le fydd Sir Gâr yn 2033? Mae pythefnos ar ôl i ateb holiadur am ddyfodol cynllunio yn ein sir.

Mae Cynllun Datblygu Lleol diwygiedig yn cael ei baratoi ar gyfer Sir Gaerfyrddin. Dyma’r cynllun fydd yn cael ei ddefnyddio fel sail i benderfynu ar geisiadau cynllunio tan y flwyddyn 2033. Bydd yn barod erbyn 2021.

Mae’r Cyngor Sir nawr yn cynnal trafodaeth ynglŷn â materion allweddol, gweledigaeth ac amcanion strategol y Cynllun.

Mae ymgynghoriad ar-lein ynghylch safleoedd ymgeisio yn dod i ben ar 10 Awst.

“Os na wnaethoch hynny eisoes, rwy’n eich annog yn garedig i fynd ar-lein nawr i ymateb,” meddai’r Cynghorydd Alun Lenny, Cadeirydd Pwyllgor Cynllunio.

“Mae’n syml i’w lanw ac yn agored i bawb i ymateb – yn fusnesau, rhanddeiliaid, trydydd sector a’r cyhoedd yn gyffredinol.

“Bydd y Cynllun Datblygu Lleol yn effeithio’n fawr iawn ar sut le fydd Sir Gaerfyrddin erbyn 2033 o ran tai, diwydiant, amgylchedd, iaith a diwylliant. Mae hyn yn bwysig i bob unigolyn a chymuned drwy’r sir.

“Mae’r amserlen a osodwyd gan Lywodraeth Cymru yn dynn. Ond mae’r Cyngor Sir am ddefnyddio’r amser prin sydd gennym i ymgynghori mor eang â phosib. Dyma gyfle i chi ddweud eich dweud. Da chi, peidiwch â’i golli – er mwyn dyfodol ein sir a’n pobl.”

Er bod yr holiadur yn cau ar 10 Awst, mae’r cyfnod i gynnig safleoedd ymgeisio i’w cynnwys yn y CDLl wedi cael ei ymestyn tan 29 Awst, 2018.
