“THERE will be a chance to get a taste of life in the police at an open day in Ammanford next week.
Dyfed-Powys Police is hosting the event at Ammanford Police Station from 11am to 2pm on Saturday, August 11.
Visitors will be able to look around a roads policing unit car, have their fingerprints taken and see what they look like in uniform.
Ammanford Inspector, Chris Neve, said: “We’re looking forward to meeting people at this event in Aberystwyth, which forms part of the force’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
“There will be plenty of fun, and a chance to meet your police team and get crime prevention advice.”
