My Rotary and the Weather

Never seem to see eye to eye

The forecast says this or that

The weather decides what’s best

It changes its mind minute by minute

Probably counting how many bales

Bales of washing are appearing

On rotaries throughout the dales

As soon as the weather can see

A battle worth winning is nigh

Then it sends in the rain clouds

Spreading indecision, pure dismay

My rotary cannot beat the weather

Can only dry at one speed

The weather hold all the cards

Wins hands down in so many ways
