Tour Of Britain
The Mayor of Llanelli, Cllr David Darkin and Llanelli Town Council Leader, Cllr Shahana Najmi noted the Town Council’s pleasure that the Tour of Britain will be visiting the area for the Grand Depart on Sunday 2nd September.
The Town Council Offices at Town Hall Square will display a promotional green bike and bunting in support of the event.
The Town Mayor Cllr Darkin said:
“I’m delighted to welcome the Tour of Britain to the area, I know that the people of Llanelli are excited about the Grand Depart and I am sure this internationally recognised event will provide for a great boost to the Community.”
Llanelli Town Council Leader Cllr Najmi said:
“I’m pleased that the Town Council is able to promote this exciting event by displaying the green bike in support of the Grand Depart on September 2nd.”
