Following on from excellent A Level results last week, students at Ysgol Uwchradd Aberteifi were again celebrating this week, this time over their GCSE results. It was a pleasure to see so many happy faces as students received their certificates. Students sat between 12 and 14 GCSE or equivalent qualifications, and 100% achieved at least 5 GCSE qualifications or equivalent, 80% of them achieving at least 5 GCSEs at grades A* – C. 76% of the students gained the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification National Certificate.

Headteacher Nicola James said: “We delight in the achievements of all our students, which are the result of their hard work and the dedication and commitment of our teaching and support staff who continue to ensure the best learning experiences and outcomes for our pupils. I thank the whole school community and congratulate everyone on their success.”
