Emergency services are at the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision which has occurred on the eastbound carriageway of the M4 motorway shortly before junction 40.
The incident was reported shortly before 4.10pm this afternoon (Sunday August 26).
A road closure is in place with traffic being diverted from the motorway at junction 42.
Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes while investigations into the collision continue.
