LORDS COMMITTEE TO VISIT RURAL BUSINESSES AND COMMUNITIES IN HEREFORDSHIRE
On Wednesday 12th September the House of Lords Committee on the Rural Economy will visit businesses and organisations in Herefordshire to explore the key opportunities and challenges in the rural economy.
Over the course of the day, the Committee will hold two roundtable discussions and then visit businesses including Sun Velo (who run cycling tours) and ATN (a night vision manufacturing firm). The Committee want to hear from as many local voices as possible to find out about the distinctive issues communities and businesses face, to help it make meaningful recommendations to Government.

Westons Cider Mill – An independent, family owned cider mill which has been operating on its farm in Hereford for over 135 years. Westons is known nationally for its cider range including Stowford Press, Henry Westons and Old Rosie. It uses methods that nurture the environment and encourage the local flora and fauna to thrive.
