LEARN MY WAY CONTRACT EXTENDED

CETMA are proud to announce that they have had their contract for providing training via the Learn My Way Project extended.

Learn My Way is a website of free online courses for beginners, helping them to develop digital skills to make the most of the online world. It is run by the Good Things Foundation as part of their Online Centres Network.

CETMA project officer, Daren Lowe said:

“Last year we trained over 150 individuals in Financial Awareness and IT Training. The opportunity came up again to continue this project, we applied and CETMA was successful.”

“CETMA is part of the Online Centres Network (OCN), and As a Network member we have committed to:

  • Offering free or low cost internet access along with the help and support people need to use it,
  • meet the OCN’s Quality Promise to provide a friendly welcome,
  • guidance on how to find and use Public Services and advice on what to do next.”

“We also have to help at least three people to get online each month!”

The Courses running under Learn My Way are suitable for anyone 16+ and are:

  • Using your computer or device
  • Online basics
  • More internet skills
  • Online safety
  • Finding a job online
  • Improving your health online
  • Managing your money online
  • Public services online
  • Online and mobile banking
  • Make money work
