August litter fines
More than £900 in fines were handed out to litter louts during August by Carmarthenshire County Council’s environmental enforcement officers, including:
- £100 FPN issued to a male for failing to clear up after his dog fouled at Llanelli’s North Dock
- £100 FPN issued to a resident of Ralph Street who left blue bags contaminated with food, nappies and glass in nearby Robinson Street. The individual has previously been issued a section 46 enforcement notice for waste offences
- £100 FPN issued to a male for failing to clear up after his dog that had fouled on the footpath in front of Laugharne castle
- £100 FPN issued to a resident of Florence Street, Llanelli, for leaving blue bags out on black bag week, despite previous enforcement notices and warnings. The blue bags were also contaminated with food and glass
- £75 FPN issued to a male for littering at Morrisons recycling site, Parc Pemberton, Llanelli
- £75 FPN issued to a male who left a bag of glass bottles on the floor next to a glass bank in Llanybydder. The bank was checked and was not full. Evidence was found relating to a local man who admitted leaving the bag on the floor and not making any effort to put the glass into the bank
- Two £75 FPNs issued to occupants of a car being driven at Trostre Retail Park, Llanelli, seen throwing litter from the car by enforcement officers on duty
- £75 FPN issued to a male for throwing a cigarette butt from a vehicle travelling along Trostre Road, Llanelli, witnessed by enforcement officers travelling in a vehicle directly behind. The registered keeper was traced through the DVLA
- £75 FPN issued to a resident of College Square, Llanelli, who placed his household waste in a business trade waste bin belonging to Papa Johns. Householders are only permitted to place household waste for collection outside their own property no sooner than 6pm on the evening before collection day, or otherwise at a recycling site
- £75 FPN issued to a male for littering fast food packaging at Tesco, Trostre Retail Park, Llanelli
- £75 FPN issued to a male for leaving a baby seat on the ground at Morrisons recycling site, Parc Pemberton, Llanelli
- In addition, three section 46 environmental notices have been issued – two to a householder at an address in Wern Road, Llanelli, who had placed black bags out on a blue bag week and more than four bags at a time, on two separate locations; and one to a resident at Pottery Place, Llanelli, who had used blue bags for general waste, put them out too early and not outside her own property

Yn ystod mis Awst, cafodd dros £900 o ddirwyon eu rhoi gan swyddogion gorfodi materion amgylcheddol Cyngor Sir Gâr i bobl a fu’n taflu sbwriel, gan gynnwys:
- Dirwy o £100 i ddyn a fethodd â chodi baw ei gi yn Noc y Gogledd, Llanelli
- Dirwy o £100 i breswylydd Stryd Ralph a adawodd fagiau glas a oedd yn cynnwys bwyd, cewynnau a gwydr ar Stryd Robinson. Mae hysbysiad gorfodi adran 46 wedi cael ei roi i’r unigolyn yn flaenorol am droseddau’n ymwneud â gwastraff.
- Dirwy o £100 i ddyn a fethodd â chodi baw ei gi ar y llwybr troed y tu blaen i Gastell Talacharn.
- Dirwy o £100 i breswylydd Stryd Florence, Llanelli, am roi bagiau glas allan ar wythnos bagiau du, er gwaethaf hysbysiadau a rhybuddion gorfodi blaenorol. Roedd y bagiau glas hefyd yn cynnwys bwyd a gwydr.
- Dirwy o £75 i ddyn a ollyngodd sbwriel ar safle ailgylchu Morrisons, Parc Pemberton, Llanelli
- Dirwy o £75 i ddyn a adawodd fag o boteli gwydr ar y llawr ger banc ailgylchu gwydr yn Llanybydder. Cafodd y banc ei wirio ac nid oedd yn llawn. Daethpwyd o hyd i dystiolaeth yn gysylltiedig â dyn lleol, a gyfaddefodd ei fod wedi gadael y bag ar y llawr heb wneud unrhyw ymdrech i roi’r gwydr yn y banc
- Dwy ddirwy o £75 i bobl mewn car a oedd yn cael ei yrru ym Mharc Adwerthu Trostre, Llanelli, a gafodd eu gweld gan swyddogion gorfodi yn taflu sbwriel o’r car
- Dirwy o £75 i ddyn am daflu stwmpyn sigarét o gerbyd a oedd yn teithio ar hyd Heol Trostre, Llanelli, a gafodd ei weld gan swyddogion gorfodi a oedd yn teithio mewn cerbyd yn uniongyrchol y tu ôl iddo. Cafodd y ceidwad cofrestredig ei olrhain drwy’r DVLA
- Dirwy o £75 i breswylydd Sgwâr y Coleg, Llanelli, a roddodd ei wastraff cartref mewn bin gwastraff masnach sy’n perthyn i Papa John’s Pizza. Caniateir i breswylwyr roi gwastraff y cartref y tu allan i’w heiddo eu hunain i gael ei gasglu, heb fod yn gynt na 6pm ar y nos cyn y diwrnod casglu, neu fel arall mewn safle ailgylchu
- Dirwy o £75 i ddyn a ollyngodd pecyn bwyd brys yn Tesco, Parc Adwerthu Trostre, Llanelli
- Dirwy o £75 i ddyn a adawodd sedd car i blentyn ar y llawr ger safle ailgylchu Morrisons, Parc Pemberton, Llanelli
- Yn ogystal, mae tri hysbysiad adran 46 wedi cael eu rhoi – dau i breswylydd ar Heol y Wern, Llanelli, a oedd wedi rhoi bagiau du allan i’w casglu ar wythnos bagiau glas a mwy na phedwar bag ar yr un pryd, mewn dau leoliad ar wahân; ac un i breswylydd ar Pottery Place, Llanelli, a oedd wedi defnyddio bagiau glas ar gyfer gwastraff cyffredinol a’u rhoi allan yn rhy gynnar y tu allan i eiddo nad yw’n perthyn iddi.
