Ten Reasons You May Not Be Losing Weight

Through my experience of running my health and fitness business I’ve found that people’s weight is so important to them and often the reason why people start exercising or change their eating habits.

I guarantee that pretty much every single person who has tried to lose weight have experienced setbacks on the way.

The purpose of this short article is to find out some reasons why people fail in their attempts to lose weight as well as offering some solutions to help you.

I read on the BBC website at the time of writing this that two thirds of middle aged people in Wales are overweight or obese.

The fast food, lazy lifestyle that most people have adopted is having its effect.

Being overweight and obese is terrible for your health, all of that extra body fat massively increases your chances of suffering from extremely harmful health problems.

If you’re trying to shift some pounds but struggling then have a look through the list to see if any of the following may apply to you:

  1. You blow it on weekends
  2. You have a medical condition
  3. You are not being consistent with your healthy eating and exercise
  4. Impatience! You have not given yourself enough time to see results
  5. You have hit a plateau
  6. You are not exercising enough or you are exercising too much
  7. You are not getting enough sleep – people who work nights suffer on this one!!
  8. You are eating too much or you are not eating enough
  9. You are too stressed out
  10. You don’t need to lose weight

Solutions – Change something…

  • Training
  • Nutrition
  • Supplements
  • Rest and Recovery
  • Try a new activity

All of the decisions we make now affect us in later life for the better or for the worse.

Keep making positive changes and make the most of life.
