The Llwynhendy and Pemberton Forum are pleased to announce that the first 24 hour accessible defibrillator for Llwynhendy has been placed at Llwynhendy Police Station (Llanelli).
The defibrillator was awarded to the Forum as part of the Welsh Hearts 5th Birthday Celebrations in partnership with the Masonic Charitable Foundation.
£500 was also awarded to the Forum by Llanelli Rural Council to purchase the external cabinet.
Llanelli Rural Councillor Jason Hart said:
“Everyone has been busy fundraising to purchase this life saving equipment and we can’t thank the Welsh Hearts, the Masonic Foundation and Llanelli Rural Councillor enough.”
“We aim to ensure that there are enough defibs and trained people in the area to help those that are in need.”
