and supporting Battersea Dogs & Cats Home

ITV viewer favourite, ‘For the Love of Dogs’, is set to return to screens on 31st of October with YuMOVE, the UK’s No.1 veterinary joint supplement* on board as the show sponsor.

The BAFTA nominated show has proved hugely successful and is predicted to make a stellar return for its seventh series. Lintbells, the manufacturer of YuMOVE, will use the programme sponsorship to raise awareness of dog joint health, bringing the role of pet supplements to the attention of millions of pet owners throughout the eight week series.

In support of the sponsorship campaign Lintbells will be giving £1 to Battersea (Reg Charity no: 206394) for every pet owner that signs up to their newsletter during the eight weeks the show is broadcast on TV; further supporting the nation’s ‘Love of Dogs’ in an effort to raise £10,000. The money will go towards the ongoing work and care of over 7,000 lost or abandoned animals that come through Battersea’s doors every year, including full time care, medical costs and shelter.

Battersea aims to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help, caring for unwanted pets until their owners or loving new homes can be found, no matter how long it takes. The Lintbells donation will help support dogs such as eight-year-old Mongrel Hope who was at Battersea’s Old Windsor centre for 287 days, making her one of the charity’s longest-ever stay dogs. Despite her sweet nature, Hope struggled to find a family due to her size, age and strength on the lead. Hope finally found her perfect match in September this year when she went home with a family from Epsom.
