20 year-old man charged with terrorism offences
Zakaria Afey, 20, from the St Mellons area of Cardiff has been charged on suspicion of possession of material useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism contrary to the Terrorism Act 2000 and Dissemination of Terrorist Publication contrary to the Terrorism Act 2006.
Afey was charged following a pre-planned operation involving officers from the Wales Extremism and Counter Terrorism Unit (WECTU) supported by South Wales Police.
He has been bailed to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday October the 30th at 1.30pm.
