Llanelly House has ghosts or so people say,
They come out at night, never during the day.
Are those wraiths I see on Penclacwydd Marsh
Or are they locals, no that a bit harsh!
Ghouls abound in our Stradey Woods,
Dressed in rags, faces covered by hoods.
A frightening scream, an unholy wail’
Seemingly coming from Market Street Gaol.
Grimacing pumpkins lit by candles,
Witches flying on broomstick handles,
And in the cellars of the old Town Hall,
They talk of when the hobgoblins crawl
Horrible things I wished I’d never seen,
Here’s to a creepy Sosban Halloween!
