Appeal for information following fatal RTC on M4 yesterday

SOUTH WALES POLICE

At approximately 07.37 hours on Sunday 11th November 2018, a fatal Road Traffic Collision occurred on the eastbound carriageway of the M4 Motorway between Junction 36 (Sarn) and Junction 35 (Pencoed).

A silver coloured Renault Clio was involved in the single vehicle collision.

As a result of the collision, the female driver of this vehicle was declared deceased at the scene.

A police family liaison officer has been appointed and is supporting the deceased’s next of kin.

The coroner has been informed.

South Wales Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

The police would like to speak to any person who witnessed the collision, has dash cam footage, or who stopped to provide assistance, or anyone who may have seen the vehicle being driven prior to the collision and who have not yet given their details, or who travelled the road at around that time.
